Brace yourself for a flamboyant night out when FROST invites you to join the New Zealand-born psychedelic pop boy wonder and noted dolphin lover, Connan Mockasin, at the old Bremen Theatre in the heart of Copenhagen.
With his charismatic hair, distinctive croon and laid-back, psychedelic songs, he resembles American weirdo Ariel Pink. But don’t be fooled – Connan is like no other. This years’ amazing album ‘Caramel’ is a fascinating dive into Connan’s own surreal world, where innocence meets sultry in a Twin Peaks inspired universe. Disturbing? Maybe. But undeniable charming too.
We are happy to present this eccentric gentleman at Bremen Theater, a place previously owned by Copenhagen flamboyant Simon Spies. If that isn’t a match then …
As an extra twist, we have invited a strong and happening Danish act. Last year, Kristian Finne Kristensen, visited FROST as part of the Danish duo Cancer (with lead singer from When Saints Go Machine, Nikolaj Vonsild). Now, he is back with his laidback, singer songwriter inspired solo project, Chorus Grant. His new album, Space, will be released on March 24 and the concert at FROST will be your chance to hear some of the new material before it’s even released.
Concert starts 21.00
