Frost Festival is moving into the Workers’ Museum for a three day celebration of musical expertise and new Nordic hope.
On Tuesday, February 23rd, Frost presents two new Nordic acts: Icelandic folk singer Júníus Meyvant and supporting Danish quintet Lowly. The next day celebrates intricate piano compositions from Ukranian Lubomyr Melnyk, and showcases Danish Troels Abrahamsen’s latest solo piano project, EXEC. On the festival’s last day at the Worker’s Museum, Thursday February 25th, Danish music legend and man of the people Allan Olsen takes the stage as a solo artist with 35 years of experience behind him.
Besides the five musical acts in the Banquet Hall, Frost Festival will be showing select areas of the museum’s exhibition in a new light – literally. Ungt Lys are hacking the exhibition through light design, ensuring guests have the pleasure of experiencing all areas of the museum before the nightly concerts.
Ticket sales for all three nights begins tomorrow, January 15th, at 10:00.
