Frost Festival is once again teaming up with the National Gallery of Denmark’s Fridays-initiative, presenting a Friday evening dedicated to art. Frost are proud to present the premiere of Danish musician Andreas Führer’s new collaborative project, Andreas Führer Isle of White.
Isle of White is Andreas Führer on voice/guitar, joined by Cæcilie Trier (Voice/Keyboards), Asger Hartvig (Voice/Piano), Holger Hartvig (Voice/Keyboards/Percussion), Rasmus Valldorf (Voice/Drums) and Aske Zidore (Voice/Sounds). Together with visual artist Anne Mette Schultz the musicians will perform the work “Tracks and dialoguing Les Halles”. “Les Halles” explores the dialogue between the conventions within an institution of fine arts as the museum and culture’s adaption to popular demand.
The concert takes place in X-Rummet at 19:00. Besides “Tracks and dialoguing Les Halles”, you can experience several other events at this SMK Fridays. The over all theme is the museums new exhibition ‘Japanomania’ about European 19th century artists fascination of Japan. You can join the Facebook event to keep updated.
The event is free and open to all.
