FROST 2014 has been an amazing journey throughout musical experiences at interesting (and challenging!) venues. Join us for a trip down memory lane with three videos from our most spectacular venues: The old abandoned National Aquarium, the closed-down swimming pool, Hollænderhallen, and King Christian IV’s Brewery.
The new Danish band The Mountains will play their debut concerts at the old King Christian IV’s brew house for FROST 2014. Here they will play two concerts in one night at the old brewery’s beautiful wooden loft. We have talked to the three experienced musicians about their expectations for the shows.
The legendary American indierock group of Montreal join FROST with the catchy songs from their new album “Lousy With Sylvianbriar”. We talked with lead singer Kevin Barnes about the inspiration for the new album and the band’s flamboyant live setup.
He has been named “the one to watch in 2014” by Billboard and other influential media and we are tremendously excited that SOHN will give his first venue concert in Denmark as part of FROST 2014. We asked the English electronic soul artist about his expectations for 2014 and his gig in Pumpehuset.
When Indians and Rumpistol play their two concerts at this year’s FROST, they will not be alone on stage. Joining them is 70 musicians from the symphony orchestra Copenhagen Phil. This will be a once in a lifetime experience for both the artists and the audience. We have asked Jens Berents Christiansen from Rumpistol and Søren Lykke Juul from Indians to interview each other about the concerts, their expectations and collaboration.

We have talked to Eggs Laid By Tigers about poetry, expectations and how it feels to get to stay inside Dylan Thomas’ childhood home.

The duo thrives on the unknown, and their live concerts are notoriously known for including the audience in the most subtle ways. We have talked to Lucky Dragons about the beauty of the unknown, the sense of community in live concerts and improvisation.
