Three months before album release Ulige Numre present their new and highly anticipated album, ‘Grand Prix’, exclusively in the Workers’ Museum’s Banquet Hall. This beautiful old ballroom in the heart of Copenhagen will make the perfect venue for a band with a strong connection to the city and will set an unusual framework for a modern yet classical rock act.
Few Danish bands have won as many hearts as the four members of Ulige Numre did when they released their debut EP. Both music critics and an escalating group of fans welcomed the young Danish band’s unique talent for solid songwriting and striking lyrics from the very beginning. The band has recently recorded their second album in Stockholm and will play their new songs live in front of an audience for the first time on this special night.
For more than 100 years Workers’ Museum’s Banquet Hall has accommodated events for the labor movement and played a significant role as a social and political meeting place – Lenin and Rosa Luxemburg are among the prominent historical celebrities who have been giving speeches there. Today the grand room still constitutes a breathtaking framework for political and cultural events. We are looking forward to opening the doors to this architectural jewel and present Ulige Numre on stage.
Supporting act on this night is Den Fjerde Væg who will bring songs from their two delicate albums ‘Drengekys’ and ‘Danser’.
