What happens when you mix the musical darkness of human nature with a light, zany farce? Frost Festival and The Royal Playhouse present the critically acclaimed Danish duo Cancer in the set-design for ‘Noises Off’ – A comedy labeled ‘the world’s funniest plays since its world premiere in 1982’.
Cancer will on this special occasion perform a full concert in a set-design created by Kim Wetzel for the Danish version of the timeless Michael Frayn play on The Royal Playhouse’s main stage.
Melancholic sometimes introvert musical landscapes will meet the physical manifestation of cheerful British humor and find its balance in extraordinary moments. Expect a beautiful and brutal Sunday afternoon with one of this moment’s most fascinating Danish bands.
Cancer has accelerated their career rapidly since they played one of their first shows on Frost in 2013 and released their debut album, ‘Ragazzi’, in the fall of 2014. Cancer is When Saints Go Machine’s lead singer and producer Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild and Chorus Grant’s lead singer and guitarist Kristian Finne Kristensen.
We are happy to welcome Cancer back to Frost Festival and to present the band on this very special location.
